How does TailPay work?

Approved breeders create payment requests, share a secure link with buyers, and track payments and payouts in their TailPay dashboard.

Once a breeder is approved to accept payments on TailPay:

  1. A breeder creates a payment request
  2. TailPay generates a secure payment link via the TellTail platform. The breeder may select to either send the secure payment link through any means they desire (like a text or an email) or they may select to have TellTail email it for them.
  3. The buyer pays through a hosted checkout.
  4. Both the breeder and buyer receive confirmation via the TellTail platform, and the breeder will later receive payout once the payment and deposit succeeds.

All transactions are tracked in the breeder’s TailPay dashboard.
